Person-Centred Therapy in Sheffield and Online

Hey! I'm Laura (they/them), a qualified therapist providing counselling and psychotherapy for adults.
I'm passionate about supporting people from all walks of life, using my person-centred approach.

When life gets tough...

Whether you're anxious, depressed, grieving, lonely, stressed, suicidal or just generally struggling with life or relationships, I offer a space where you can share your feelings and try to find a way forward.

Trauma and abuse

If you've experienced childhood abuse, coercive control, domestic abuse, sexual violence or spiritual/cultic abuse, we can work together to build a therapeutic relationship in which you feel in control and safe enough to process and heal from what you've been through.

LGBTQIA+

I'm queer and committed to fighting for LGBTQIA+ liberation. Whether you want to explore your identity, find trans joy or work on something unrelated to your sexuality or gender, I'm here and on your side.

Functional neurological disorder

I work in the NHS with patients who have functional neurological disorder (FND). If you have this diagnosis, or medically unexplained symptoms that may be connected to your life experiences, I can support you to understand your condition and work through the emotional issues that often lie behind FND.
My approach is trauma-informed and anti-oppressive. I take into account how traumatic life experiences and discrimination impact on our brain, body, sense of self and how we relate to one another - including as client and therapist.
